Custom bike sizing is the step to take before you buy a new bike if you want to stop guessing. Instead of buying first and trying to rescue the position later with stems, spacers or compromises, we work out in advance which frame and geometry actually suit your body, your goals and the kind of riding you do.
You work directly with me, Lloyd Thomas. I am not just looking for a nominal frame size. I am looking for the cleanest path to a real riding position you can support outdoors.
Why this matters before you spend money
A bike can look close on paper and still turn into an expensive compromise once it is built. Too little front-end range, the wrong reach or a poor match between frame and cockpit can leave you paying again to correct a decision that could have been avoided.
That is what this appointment is for. You get a clear recommendation on which options make sense and which ones are likely to cause trouble later.
What I assess before recommending a size
- your proportions, mobility and stability
- your intended use: road, gravel, triathlon, MTB or e-bike
- stack, reach and front-end range on realistic frame options
- component requirements such as stem, handlebar width and crank length
- whether two or three shortlisted bikes are genuinely comparable
What you leave with
You leave with more than a vague opinion. You know which size is the better fit, which frame gives the cleaner route to your target position and where expensive compromises are likely to appear if you choose the wrong platform.
That makes the buying process faster, calmer and far less dependent on guesswork.
