Between the target position on the fit bike and the bike a dealer hands over there is almost always a gap. This appointment closes it while something can still be changed.
What this appointment is for
The position from your sizing session is transferred to the bike you bought and verified there β with your shoes, your pedals and the configuration the bike actually arrived in.
When it belongs
Shortly after handover, before you adapt to a position that is not yet yours.
- the bike has been delivered and assembled
- stem, saddle or cockpit differ from the specification
- the first rides feel different from the sizing session
- components can still be exchanged at the dealer
How the session runs
- reconciling the build against the values from the sizing session
- settling the contact points on the real bike
- cleat position with your shoes and insoles
- a clear call when a component belongs swapped
What comes next
The values are documented. If goals, shoes or discomfort change later, the regular follow-up is the right route.
